Funding Guidelines
Mr. Lowell W. Berry established The Lowell Berry Foundation in 1950 with the primary purpose of assisting in strengthening Christian ministry at the local church level. Mr. Berry's secondary purpose was that of assisting social service programs in the areas in California where he lived and operated his business.
The Lowell Berry Foundation has a large number of ongoing grant programs. New grants are restricted to programs in California's Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
Grants for individuals, capital funding projects and equipment are outside the guidelines.
